shown below. You will be invoiced for the advert after it goes to print
and payments should be made by cheque. If there is sufficient demand we
may incorporate online payment facilities on this site at a later date.
There are ten issues of the Wargrave News each year, with no issues in
January or August. With every advert you place with Wargrave News you
get a FREE entry in the Business Listing
section of this website for a period of at least six months (for
one-off ads) - a whole year if you book your display advertising

Images must be in black or grayscale only for the paper. Some low percentage tints of black may not reproduce well. Please use solid black wherever possible. Please submit the artwork as a PDF or JPEG, with a minimum resolution of 300dpi. If you are unsure please e-mail us. *We reserve the right to refuse publication of any advertisement, or withdraw it from publication at any time, at our sole discretion. |

Advertising on this website (Wargrave News Online)
We
are offering one month at a time 'banner ads' on the home page, at a
rate of £50 per
month (no VAT). This is so that other advertisers have the chance
to also appear on this page. There will never be more than two
commercial ads on the home page and the position of the ads are fixed
in the right hand column below the not-for-profit animated ads. If
there is no waiting list for the
home page you will be offered the chance to renew your position on this
page at the same rate. The advertisement must be in JPEG, GIF or
FLV format , size 175 wide x 195 deep (pixels).
If you would like a Flash animated advert designed for youwe can arrange for it to be made up by Country Marketing (http://countrymarketing.co.uk) at a flat, one-off fee of £50 (no VAT). You will have the chance to request changes prior to approval. You will be invoiced by Wargrave News and Country Marketing separately and ivoices must be settled prior to your ad going live.
There is a second option for advertisers: to have a banner ad of the same size but on the Business Directory page at http://wargravenews.co.uk/businesses. The number of ads on this page is not limited as it is the directory that lists local advertisers. The idea is that some businesses listed might like to be more prominent on this page rather than just having a listing. The charge would be £30 per month for this page with no time limit. Block bookings of one year would attract two months free, totalling £300 payable in advance. Again, the design service is available if needed.
Just to give you an idea of unique visitors to the website, January 2010 was our record month with nearly 1700 separate people visiting the home page (it has consistently increased since we launched it a year ago). Of the 1700, one-quarter look at the Business Directory page.
All adverts are accepted at the sole disrection of Wargrave News and we reserve the right to refuse and remove adverts.
